Yesterday The mission time is getting faster: rescuers have now shaved two hours off their initial estimate for the time it would take to ferry each boy out. The first operation today commenced at 11am and the first boy emerged around 4.30pm, according to some reports. That’s about five-and-a-half hours, much less than the 11 hour round-trip some divers were making to the boys earlier this week.

Weather may hinder rescue of remaining four boys and their coach
The rescue of the remaining four boys and their football coach may “take days” and depends on the weather, authorities have said.
The mission is now a race against the clock with heavy rain expected this week which would again flood the tunnels with fast-flowing, rising water.
It’s thought the four boys will be rescued first, before divers return to get the football coach.
Narongsak Osottanakorn, head of the rescue mission, said: “We have set the plan for four people so if they want to take five out (at the same time), then they need to change the plan.” |

QUICK RECAP
- It’s an 11-hour round trip to get in and out but divers have been doing it more quickly because many parts of the route are now drained.
- Divers need up to 20 hours to lay air tanks and prepare the route.
-So far there’s been one fatality - former Thai navy Seal Saman Kunan died while placing air tanks along the route.
- There are 18 divers, five Thai and 13 foreigners, including Australians taking part in the delicate operation.
- A 100-strong support team is pumping out litres of water to stop more flooding in the caves.
- Four boys were taken out on Sunday in 11 hours.
- Four boys were taken out on Monday in 9 hours.

haa ,.. sekali kut je dia masuk sini tinggalkan kata2 azimat dia "selayaknya la" tu. sama jgk kata2 azimat yang di letak kat thread gunung kinabalu kena gempa dulu dan thread2 lain. tp kat thread lain ada dia membawang pasal makcik2 yang syahdu2 baca kes ni. dia kata makcik2 tudung kepam la tu yang beremosi .. sampai nangis2 dengar news budak2 ni diselamatkan. keji la sis changa tuuu. kita tewasa laaa  . eh tapi kita tewasa sbb kita pun nangis2 .. bukan sbb tudung kita kepam tau. tudung kita wangi pe.

The first four boys to be rescued have now seen their parents (through glass), and the other four will likely see their parents today.
Health officials have in the last few minutes provided an update on the state of the boys. The boys are generally health and safe, doctors said, but two are receiving treatment for “minor” lung infections.
It will be at least seven days before they are discharged from hospital. |
