King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark are making a two-day state visit to Estonia at the invitation of President of Estonia Alar Karis. On 27 January 2026, President Alar Karis and First Lady Sirje Karis welcomed King Frederik X and Queen Mary at an official welcoming ceremony held at Town Hall Square in Tallinn. Following the ceremony, the King and Queen participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the War of Independence.

On the evening of 27 January 2026, President Alar Karis and First Lady Sirje Karis hosted a concert and state banquet in honour of King Frederik X and Queen Mary at St Nicholas’ Church in Tallinn.

On the second day of their state visit, the King and Queen visited the Estonian national cyber range, CR14, where cyber defence capabilities are trained and tested. They then held a reciprocal reception at the impressive medieval Town Hall on the city’s old market square.

King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark are undertaking a two-day state visit to Lithuania at the invitation of the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda. On January 28, 2026, King Frederik and Queen Mary were officially welcomed by President Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius, where the reception of the Royal Couple continued indoors.

On the second day of their visit, the King and Queen, together with President Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, took part in the Lithuania–Denmark Business Forum on security, held at the Technology Museum.
Following this, King Frederik and Queen Mary visited Lithuania’s parliament, the Seimas, where they were received by the Speaker of the Seimas, Juozas Olekas. The tour focused on Lithuania’s independence and the historical elements of the building, including the Plenary Chamber where Lithuania declared its independence from the Soviet Union on 11 March 1990.
