Some MH17 victims may 'never be found'

The Hague (AFP) - All remains of the 298 people who died on downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in rebel-held east Ukraine may never be recovered, Dutch police chief Gerard Bouman said on Monday.

"I would love to give a guarantee that all the remains will come back, and all possessions, but... I believe the chances are not very good that we will get it all," he said in a briefing to parliament in The Hague.

Bouman said all next-of-kin had been made aware of the situation, adding it was not even clear how many bodies remained unaccounted for.

"What we found in the body bags in Ukraine was indescribable. The contents were horrible, hardened people whose work this is are finding it hard to process. Bits and pieces all mixed, big and small, were found in the bags," he said.

A team of unarmed Dutch and Australian investigators were forced by heavy fighting on Monday to abandon yet another attempt to reach the crash site.

Rebels fighting in eastern Ukraine had said on Sunday that a train carriage filled with personal belongings of the victims had been handed over to Dutch officials.

But Dutch justice ministry spokesman Lodewijk Hekking told AFP on Monday that no handover had taken place and only a few items were in official hands so far.

"Last Friday two investigators were on the site, where they collected a handful of personal belongings -- passports and other small items -- which they took with them," he told AFP.

Ukrainian official: Black boxes show MH17 went down due to “massive explosive decompression”



On Monday in Kiev, Col. Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine’s Security Council, announced that according to analysis of the black boxes, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 went down due to “massive explosive decompression” after being hit with shrapnel from a rocket.

The Boeing 777′s black boxes were retrieved by rebels in eastern Ukraine, where the commercial plane went down killing all 298 on board. Last week, the black boxes were handed over to Malaysian officials, and according to Reuters, they were being downloaded in the United Kingdom, and analyzed by international investigators.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur on July 17. The plane was traveling at 33,000 feet. Below its flight path, separatist conflict ensued between pro-Russian rebels and Ukraine.

U.S. officials believe the plane was shot down by a surface-to-air missile, according to the New York Times. However, it has not yet been confirmed who shot the missile. Ukraine, the U.S. and other Western officials believe that pro-Russian rebels are responsible, while Russia points a finger at Ukraine.

Teori kata mayat dlm tu ada lah penumpang mh370 mmg mengarut sangat. Sbb boarding dr amsterdam beberapa jam je sebelum bukan 2-3 hari sebelum.. cara mereka cakap mcm zombie pulak yg boarding atau mayat2 dari mh370 di isi dlm kargo.

Aku percaya keadaan mayat jadi mcm tu sbb jatuh dr ketinggian 33ribu kaki..
