Misteri sakit pinggang sebelah kanan.
Pelik. Pergi urut tak jalan. Tampal koyok pun kejap je lega. Slip disc pun bukan.
Sebenarnya, punca dia mungkin ada dalam seluar anda sekarang.
Cuba raba poket belakang. Ada rasa "batu bata" petak?
Dalam dunia perubatan, kita panggil ni "Hip-Pocket Syndrome".
Secara fizik, bila kita duduk atas dompet (walaupun tebal 1 inci), tulang pinggul (pelvis) sebelah kanan akan ternaik tinggi sikit berbanding kiri.
Otak kita tak suka badan senget. Jadi secara automatik, tulang belakang akan memengkok (curving) ke arah bertentangan supaya kepala kita kekal tegak.
Kita tak perasan sebab badan kita 'adjust' sendiri.
Tapi saraf Sciatic kat bahagian punggung tu perasan. Dia tengah kena henyak dengan bucu dompet tu berjam-jam.
Lama-lama saraf tu meradang. Rasa kebas turun ke peha, kadang-kadang sampai ke hujung kaki.
Ramai ingat sakit urat biasa. Rupanya cuma sebab tabiat simpan resit lama tebal-tebal dalam dompet.
Cuba alihkan sekejap letak atas meja. Rasa tak beza dia bila duduk rata?
Kadang-kadang ubat sakit pinggang tu percuma je.
