betul tuh, ai setuju. isu perkauman nih dijadikan modal ahli politik utk survive jah. sekejap kata, "marilah rakyat msia bersatu tak kira bangsa dan agama"... pastuh sekejap pusing lain pulak, "bangsa x ni ada niat jahat, bangsa y nih penipu. undilah saya kalau nak selamat." dah lama ingrained dlm kepala hotak rakyat msia utk prejudis sesama sendiri... bila keluar berita wpun tak sama bangsa boleh berbuat baik, bleh terkagum la apa la. hello ini malaysia, penduduknya berbilang kaum dan agama yg dah hidup bersama berpuluh2 tahun... sgt tak patut berita sebegini dianggap sbg sesuatu yg luar biasa. it was supposed to be a normal malaysian thingy. Dari berita ini, boleh ke aku buat kesimpulan berikut:
1. pertolongan bangsa lain ke atas orang Islam/Melayu sangat sedikit hingga bila dibuat sekali terus dapat perhatian dan publisiti.
2. sebaliknya pertolongan orang Islam/melayu ke atas non Muslim terlalu banyak dan biasa hingga tidak lagi mendapat liputan media.
Mengikut cerita orang dulu-dulu semasa pendudukan Jepun, ramai orang cina menyerahkan anak mereka kepada orang Melayu untuk dijaga kerana takut dibunuh. Ramai orang cina generasi baru tak sedar atau buat-buat tak tau mengenai perkara ini.

Pada saya, secara dasarnya racial interaction is still intact in Malaysia. I live in small town where i with no was2 will go to kedai cina for nasi ayam n mee kari. The thing is we know each other by name.
My small business is 90% supported by Chinese n they still continue doing so.
My workers consist multi racial people malay chinese n indian. N my neighbors mostly Chinese. We tolerate their late our mercun during cny n they tolerate our kenduri n what not.
It just that people nowadays love to highlight the obvious.making it looks 'weird'. Sbnrnye ape yg bdk tu buat bende biasa from one human to another. |
