MOSCOW – RUSIA.

Sarawak Cabinet To Discuss Aid For Flight MH17 Tragedy Victims' Families
KUCHING, July 29 (Bernama) -- Sarawak is to discuss at a state cabinet meeting the form of aid to be given to the families of the victims of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 tragedy.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said the meeting would be held soon to discuss the form of the aid that he had stated in his Aidilfitri message.
"I will call a cabinet meeting soon to see what we can do for the families of the victims of the MH17 tragedy, especially those from Sarawak. I cannot give you the details now. We feel their loss," he told reporters at the Aidilfitri open house held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, here.
Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Tan Sri James Masing, who was at the event, said the people should also not forget the families of the victims of the MH370 tragedy.
"Let's also pray for the victims of MH370," said Masing, who is State Land Development Minister.
Flight MH370 dropped off radar on March 8 as it flew from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crew on board. The Boeing 777 aircraft has yet to be found, even after an exhaustive search in the southern Indian Ocean where it is believed to have gone down after veering off course.

MH17 black boxes show crash caused by shrapnels
Data from the black boxes was decrypted in Britain
Published Monday, July 28, 2014
Black boxes recovered from downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in rebel-held east Ukraine show shrapnel from a rocket explosion caused the passenger jet to crash, a Ukrainian security official said Monday.
International investigators "indicated that data from flight recorders show that the reason for the destruction and crash of the plane was massive explosive decompression arising from multiple shrapnel perforations from a rocket explosion," said Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council.
Data from the doomed airliner's black boxes was decrypted in Britain after being handed over to Malaysian officials by pro-Russian rebels controlling the crash site of MH17.
Investigators leading the probe in the Netherlands, which lost 193 citizens, refused to confirm the latest information from Kiev, saying that they were "waiting to get a more complete idea of what happened."
Kiev and its Western allies have accused insurgents of shooting down the plane, killing all 298 people on board.
In Moscow, the head of the Russian experts participating in the crash probe, criticised Lysenko for commenting publicly without the authorisation of the chief of the investigation as is required by international agreements.
Oleg Storchevoi, the deputy head of Russia's air regulator, was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying Ukraine has "violated the basic principles of cooperation in the investigation of air crashes."

mmg ukraine x ikut procedure. patut chief investigator yg announce. dan biasanya mereka announce bila dapat maklumat lengkap bila siasatan terperinci dibuat. mereka kena relate jugak dengan wreckage supaya apa yg dianalyse dari kotak hitam tu ada supporting fact. bukan sekerat2 mcm ni. drama lg nampaknya |

Various Identification Procedures Of Mh17 Dead Bodies Cause Delay

KIEV (Ukraine), July 25 (Bernama) — The need for Netherlands’ authority to undergo various process to validate the identity of the dead bodies from the victims onboard the downed Malaysian airliner is cited as the reason for the delay of its repartriation before Aidilfitri (Eid ul-Fitr).
Another reason is because the Malaysian investigation team in Kharkiv has found different human body parts, such as legs and arms, lying with the unidentified bodies in body bags.
The Malaysian Police Disaster Victims Identification (DVI) commander, ACP Hussein Omar Khan told Bernama that due to the decaying condition of the bodies the Netherlands authority had to take DNA samples from the victims’ bones.
“It is time consuming and the experts will also use the dental record and other methods to verify the victims’ identity.
“These may take up two or three weeks to complete. So it is impossible the victims’ identification can be completed before Aidilfitri,” said Hussein, who is involved in the process of scanning and tagging of the MH17 victims’ bodies at Kharkiv and a member of the Malaysian special investigation team.
The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH17, was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it went down in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, near the Russian border on Thursday.
The Boeing 777-200 aircraft was carrying 298 people – 283 passengers and 15 crew.
Prime Minister Najib Razak announced in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday that the remains of Malaysian MH17 crash victims were unlikely to be brought back before Aidilfitri.
It is believed that the plane was shot down but until today no one has claimed responsibility for that.
Meanwhile, National Security Council (MKN) Principal Assistant Secretary Lt Col Mohd Sakri Hussain said there were some separated human body parts being put in together with other bodies in one body bag.
“If the body is missing a leg or arm, the personnel who picked up the bodies had put another leg or hand to make the body as a whole.
“So there is complication to verify which body parts belong to the right victims and this is the challenge that requires more time for Netherlands,” he said.
Furthermore the number of the bodies were huge, said Mohd Sakri.
A total of 282 bodies and 87 body parts had arrived in Kharkiv, about 500 km from Ukraine capital, Kiev on Monday.
For the past three days, some of the victim bodies had been scanned for any booby traps and tagged in Kiev before the bodies were flown to Netherlands for DVI before being released to the loved ones.
The scanning and tagging process in Kharkiv are expected to finish this Friday.

Dutch police receive 150 MH17 crash images
Witnesses have uploaded 150 photos and videos to a Dutch police server set up to help piece together the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over east Ukraine, a spokeswoman says.
The police issued an online appeal last week for images of the crash site - before, during and after - to aid a reconstruction of events.
From the server opening last Friday evening to noon on Monday, 150 images were uploaded via portals in four different languages: Dutch, English, Russian and Ukrainian, spokeswoman Franki Klarenbeek said.
And more are coming in.
'We don't know yet where the images are from, but we do know they were uploaded via all four language portals,' said Klarenbeek.
The online appeal had been 'aimed specifically at people in the disaster zone', according to the website.
The plane with 298 people on board came down on July 17 in an area of east Ukraine where pro-Russian separatists are battling government forces.
The Netherlands, which is leading the crash probe and body identification, lost 193 citizens on the flight.
Washington alleges the flight was downed by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile fired by pro-Moscow militants.
On Monday, Kiev said data from the doomed plane's black boxes showed the crash was caused by shrapnel from a rocket explosion.
Russia has denied the Western accusations, and rebel commander Igor Strelkov has said his side did not have anything to do with the MH17 disaster.
Several investigations are under way to determine what caused the crash, who is to blame, and whether any prosecution will follow for what the UN has said may amount to a war crime.
